Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This policy explains what information HUDScreen (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit hudscreen.com, how it is used and the choices you have. HUDScreen is an independent publisher of head-up display guides. We do not sell products, take orders or process payments on this site.
Information we collect
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting server records standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit) for security and troubleshooting.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your email address and message so we can reply.
- Comments. If you leave a comment, WordPress stores the name, email address, IP address and browser details you submit with it.
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not create customer accounts.
Cookies and third-party services
- Advertising (Google AdSense). We show ads served by Google. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses this information at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4). When enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure how visitors use the site, including clicks on “Check Price” buttons. We see aggregate reports, not your identity. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Amazon. HUDScreen is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click a link to Amazon, Amazon may set cookies so a qualifying purchase can be credited to us. Anything you do on Amazon is covered by Amazon’s Privacy Notice.
- Site functionality. Our shop software may set basic functional cookies (for example, to remember page settings).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, although ads may be less relevant.
How we use information
We use the information above to run and secure the site, understand which guides are useful, show advertising and answer your messages. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Retention
We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your request, and comments for as long as they remain published. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or state privacy laws such as the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email info@revoba.net. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
