Only on a few top trims. Honda’s first head-up display arrived on the 2018 Accord Touring. Today it’s on the Accord Touring Hybrid, Pilot Elite (and Black Edition) and Prologue Elite, and nowhere else: the Civic, CR-V, HR-V, Passport, Odyssey and Ridgeline don’t offer one. Acura offers it more widely, mostly with its Advance packages and Type S models. Here is every model with years and trims.

Based on American Honda’s trim-by-trim feature guides (hondainfocenter.com, acurainfocenter.com), Honda and Acura newsroom spec sheets and owner’s manuals, checked October 2026. Honda never sells the HUD as a stand-alone option. See also every 2026 car with a factory HUD.
“Head-Up Warning” is not a HUD
Many Acuras (for example the 2017–2020 MDX and TLX) and some Hondas list Head-Up Warning (HUW): lights that flash on the windshield when the collision warning activates. Honda’s spec sheets list it separately from the head-up display. It doesn’t show speed or directions.
How to switch the HUD on
- Accord 2018–2022 and RDX 2019+: “Press the HUD button on the driver side control panel.” Use the ▲/▼ buttons for height. Change content with the steering-wheel controls.
- Accord 2023+, Pilot 2023+, Integra: in the driver information interface, roll the right selector wheel to Head-Up Display settings. Choose HUD content (Speedometer, Navigation, Driver assist, or OFF), brightness, height and, on newer models, rotation. If someone set content to OFF, that’s why it’s blank.
- The HUD height moves to one of two presets when you unlock with a remote or keyless entry, so a different key can mean a different position.
Polarized sunglasses can make a HUD faint; Honda’s Prologue manual lists them in its HUD checklist, and Accord and Pilot owners report the same.
Windshield replacement: a Honda service bulletin says HUD cars must get a HUD windshield, because “Installing anything other than an original equipment replacement windshield may result in the HUD appearing as a ‘double image’”, and both types look identical, so order by VIN. See our HUD windshield replacement guide.
